The 365-Day Shine Promise
Costume jewellery has a reputation for going green in a month. That reputation is what we are trying to ruin.

The promise
If a piece tarnishes within 365 days of normal wear, we replace it free. Not a discount on your next order, and not store credit. The same piece again, posted to you.
How to claim
- Email returns@jewelsbydiksha.com with a photo
- Tell us roughly when you bought it, we can look up the order ourselves
- We post a replacement. You do not need to send the old piece back.
No receipt hunting. No form. A photo and a sentence is genuinely enough.
What counts as normal wear
Normal wear is wearing it. Cooking, commuting, a full wedding, a Panipat summer, all fine.
What the promise does not cover:
- Swimming pools and the sea, chlorine and salt strip any plating
- Wearing it in the shower, or sleeping in it every night
- Perfume or hairspray sprayed directly onto the piece
- Physical damage, a bent hook or a snapped chain is a repair, not tarnish
These are not get-out clauses. They are the four things that actually destroy plating, and we would rather tell you plainly than surprise you later.
Why we can offer this
Because of how the pieces are made. The plating is sealed with a clear lacquer, so skin oils and sweat never reach the metal, and the base is stainless steel or brass rather than the soft alloy used in most market jewellery. It costs more to make. It also means we rarely have to honour this promise, which is the point.
Making it last even longer
Last on, first off: jewellery goes on after perfume and moisturiser, and comes off before you wash. Keep it dry, keep it in the pouch it arrived in, and these pieces will outlast the guarantee by years. Full guidance on the care page.
